What Are the Different Types of Codes and How Do They Work?

Unlike older keys, modern car keys have specific chips in them that are unique to each car. This helps to prevent thieves from simply taking the key and then starting the car.

Transponder Codes

It can also be used to relay a specific message to the air traffic control system in a crisis or to notify controllers to changes in weather conditions.
